We carry a thoughtful selection of titles for elementary schools including:
Fiction:
Picture Books: Hardcover and paperback titles, as well as classic and award winning titles.
Board Books: Preschool titles for siblings of school age children.
Beginning Readers: Fiction and non-fiction first readers.
Early Chapter Books: Short chapter books for young readers.
Upper Elementary Books: Great choices in basic children's literature, alphabetical by author.
Awards/Classics: Many Newbery and other award winners, and long time favorite titles.
Series: Popular series titles for a range of elementary school readers, alphabetical by name of series.
Pre-Teens: For sophisticated readers. The content is carefully screened.
Non-Fiction:
Sports: "How to" books, as well as biographies and sports records.
Science: Diverse collection including animals, plants, space, geology, physics, chemistry, weather, etc.
Reference: Dictionaries, thesauruses, atlases, world records books, etc.
Social Studies, Biography & Math: A diverse selection of history, biography, and math books suitable for early readers through pre-teens.
Poetry, The Arts, Tales From Around the World: Stories and picture books suitable for all ages.
Funny & Fun-to-do: A diverse selection of humor, puzzles, activities, “how to” drawing, crafts, cooking, etc.
Additional Sections:
Adult Titles: Titles of interest to parents, teachers, and staff including current fiction & nonfiction, cooking, gardening, teaching materials, etc.
Activities: A small selection of activities including pencils, journals, etc.
Bargain Books: A variety of specially discounted, new books, single copies only.
Seasonal Books: Variety of titles in paperback and hardcover. (Fall only)
Required Reading: Optional: We request required reading lists at least 4-6 weeks in advance. We will then create an order form for you and take pre-paid special orders. The books will be delivered during the book fair. (Generally summer reading)
*BookFairs by BookEnds includes a small selection of titles that are of a commercial nature (approximately 3% of the total fair). We are happy to exclude these titles per special request.
